A clearer view of your herd.
Ori Cattle is developing smart ear tags that combine temperature and activity signals with LoRaWAN connectivity. We are testing hardware and completing the connected software platform ahead of a planned pilot.
Development and testing stage. Advanced features and delivery timing remain subject to validation.
Simulated data and example animals. The demo does not establish availability of hardware-connected features.

Benefits
Development focus
Ori Cattle is in engineering testing and software integration.
In testing today
Physical test tags and software development focused on temperature, activity and LoRaWAN communications.
In development
Individual-animal baselines, explainable changes and the connected workflow from a tag reading to a producer alert.

Features
Engineering and validation
Hardware, connectivity and software are being developed and tested before a supported pilot.
The intended system is Tag → LoRaWAN → Ori Hub/Gateway → cellular or satellite connectivity → Ori platform.

Enclosure testing
The enclosure and attachment are being evaluated for ranch use. Final durability specifications will follow validation.

LoRaWAN communications
Ori Cattle tags communicate with the Ori Hub/Gateway over LoRaWAN. The hub then forwards tag data to the Ori platform using cellular or satellite connectivity. A farm-provided internet connection is not required. LoRaWAN coverage and available backhaul are assessed for each installation.

Temperature and activity signals
Initial development focuses on sensor readings and movement data. Health interpretation requires validation.

Power evaluation
Battery performance and service arrangements are being evaluated. Validated lifetime specifications will be published when available.
About
The Ori Cattle Story
Ori Cattle is the first livestock product from Ori AI Technologies. Founded by James Babcock, the business grew from family connections to cattle and a practical goal: give producers a clearer view of changes in their animals.
Where we are today
Bootstrapped development has produced physical test tags and software. Work is continuing on hardware qualification, the connected data path and field validation before a supported pilot.
Our longer-term vision is a connected agricultural ecosystem. Cattle monitoring is the starting point; broader sensors and integrations remain future development.
Flexible Pricing
Planned pricing for new deployments
We are planning ownership and subscription options. Request a written quote for your operation. Hardware availability, connectivity requirements and all charges will be confirmed before you commit.
Quote information
A separate US $800 LoRaWAN deposit is included in the current pricing model. Gateway quantity, deposit applicability, any ongoing connectivity or installation charges, taxes and shipping will be itemised in your written quotation. The per-head monthly price is not the complete deployment cost. Your agreement will explain deposit refund or credit conditions, hardware returns, maintenance coverage and when monthly billing starts.
Existing customers: contact us with your invoice number to confirm the terms of your order. This page does not change previously agreed pricing or benefits.
